One year ago today, on the Fourth of July, 2013, I published my first book, The Oasis of Filth – Part One. Since then, more than 10,000 copies of my books have been downloaded by readers all over the world. Thank you to everyone who took interest in my writing — I’m pretty sure I would’ve given this hobby up by now if it weren’t for the tremendous response of readers.
So as I celebrate America’s birthday with my family and friends, I’ll also be thinking about another birthday special to me, of the doctor, Rosa, Celia, Addy, and sure, even Oliver. And I’ll be thankful for the kind words and encouragement so many readers have given me.
It’s been a long, strange, educational journey, and I look forward to new things to come in Year Two!
