Don’t think it hasn’t been a little slice of heaven…’cause it hasn’t.

To quote the esteemed Bugs Bunny, “Don’t think it hasn’t been a little slice of heaven…’cause it hasn’t.”

Last week, some friendly soul and/or mal-bot hacked this site. Obviously I’m back now, but it was a general pain in the ass to correct. The new version of this site uses a new newsletter sign up and some additional security features. I’m not going to be so bold as to state it’s totally secure, but hopefully I can avoid a repeat.

On to better news…

  • The Fingers of the Colossus is getting close. I know I promised a summer release, and I am still shooting for that. But, to paraphrase George R. R. Martin, it’ll be done when it’s done. I recently completed the draft of the short story ‘The Vacancy of Dreams,’ which is set in the world of The Oasis of Filth. I hope it’ll be a welcome addition to that family.
  • The first book of my new novel series, For I Could Lift My Finger and Black Out the Sun – Part 1: Dawn, not only wins some kind of award for longest title ever (it’s book promotion suicide!), but it also happens to be in editing right now. I am very hopeful that August will see a release date for it, and writing for Part 2: Morn is well underway. How exciting that I am well into my SECOND novel! For about 44.5 years of my life, I never thought I’d say that!

Thanks for bearing with me during my little website siesta.

Cheers!
